The Collins Complete DIY Manual is another good book. I have a the much older 1993 version but it is very useful and comprehensive.
If you're drilling tiles it's worth getting a proper tile bit, example here just buy one in the size you need though. When drilling tiles I mark the wall with a pen and then use a hammer and nail to, carefully, chip the glaze so the bit doesn't skid around. Do this at your own risk though as there a chance of cracking the whole tile.
Power tools are great, I've just bought a nail gun and can't wait to test it out this weekend. The hardboard under the new vinyl floor in my bathroom will never move! It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
