is where the police sell all the stuff that has come into their posession.
Unfortunately hard drugs, counterfeit money and other things that might make the site more interesting are not present.
On the up side, you are unlikely to get ripped off.

Had a look at http://www.searchauction.co.uk/ but it had the distinction of having NO auctions in progress!!!

Yeah, Morgan Auction site is pretty good, have bought 4 laptops and a tower system from them and sold them on for a profit.
Good thing is although it is an auction site most of the goods sold have a warranty.
Downside is that more people know about this site now and most days the prices go close to what you would pay new at https://www.ebuyer.com. Also prices for p&p are a bit on the high side (charged £15 for a digital camera) and remember to add VAT.
Tip if bidding, practically no one on this site leaves it till the last few minutes to bid on an item so if you see something you like wait until the last few minutes to bid and it should be yours.

I was a regular buyer on QXL about three years ago. Hadn't been on the site for over two years until recently. Was vey disappointed to find it was a shadow of its former self. It would seem most of the sellers have transferred to eBay.

Although not strictly online auctions, it is worth remembering that most Auction Houses now put their catalogues on their websites. If something takes your fancy, you can usually bid by phone or leave a maximum bid with the Auctioneer. There are the additional expenses of the buyers premium (plus VAT on that) and transportation, but you do have the advantage that your contract is with the Auctioneer not the seller, so should have far less problems.

    Amazon have auctions -

    http://s1.amazon.co.uk/exec/varzea/subst/home/home.html/ref=br_bc_h_1_13/026-1932465-1568451

Also, new items from their New and Used Marketplace are sometimes cheaper than Ebay and buying from Amazon themselves.

Click on http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/tg/browse/-/3239791/ref=br_bc_h_1_14/026-1932465-1568451 to browse the store, or simply search for a product from the main home page; if other merchants are selling the product, click on the New and Used link against the item.

Delivery charges for Marketplace items are on http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/tg/browse/-/3149611/ref=w_h__brbx_c_1_2/026-1932465-1568451

is where the police sell all the stuff that has come into their posession.

Does anyone know if the 'Bumblebeeauction' website will accept bids from bidders who live miles away from the collection points ....... by those bidders arranging for a 3rd party collection?

Seen some nice stuff, but I can't get to the collection points :( ..... BUT I can arrange for a courier to collect!!! :D

Looked on the website to ask the question but can't find anyone to ask!! ???

    AND

..... does anyone actually bid on https://www.avabid.com? ;)
It has taken about 4,500,000,000 (4.5 billion) years for the Earth to form as it is now .........
and it'll only take about another 100 years for mankind to really **** it up!!!!

Thanks for the link for Bumblebee auctions. They had a site a few years ago by the name of bluecycle, then that stopped & they started selling on Ebay & suddenly seemed to disappear from there & I didn't know what had become of them.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
