The managemnet have now said that they have leased the space until October and that it will be addressed then! the amusing thing is that another lockable bollard has been placed in another one of the parking bays as originally they said that apartments 1 and 2 would have to come without spaces.
I contacted the the council however they said that it as it was private land and not a public parking space then it was nothing to do with them.0 -
I think you should scrape the side of the offending car with the wheelchair.
Accidentally of course!0 -

Contact the council and explain to them that disabled access and emergency access to your flat is being purposely blocked. That is then a council planning issue. Private or not, they have to comply with emergency services and disabled access.0 -
Firstly a big thank you to all of those who provided me with advice based on the facts, rather than their subjective and assumptive opinions as some did. With it being my first post i was pleased to receive starting points which gave me a grounding upon which to work.
The parking space has now been withdrawn and can no longer be used! so a good result, the owner of the company had never been to the site and came to see what i was talking about and fully understood my plight!0 -
Good result however as they originally withdrew the offer to sell the property to you with a parking space I suspect they were in breach of some planning or more likely building regulations, with regards to just what you describe, disabled access.0
