    Morning all!
    I feel physically sick!
I slapped my daughter this morning to try and get her out of a screaming paddy. I can't believe I slapped her! It left a red mark. I feel beyond horrible

oh Linda, sometimes a paddy needs a slap, and there's nothing you can do.

Don't feel to bad about that. It's obviously not a regular occorance and she would know that too....

Please don't tell me your daughter is 21!

My news, well not much really. I've had a time lately listing and having things sell on Ebay. Have made about £50 so far..... 2 tops sold for about £6-7 each, flower girl dress £12.50, Radley brolly £22.50 (yay!!! :j ) and a tiffany cardboard box for a couple of quid.

All in all definately worth the trouble of ebaying, and if you stagger the finish days then it's not such a chore to get things wrapped and off to Postoffice.

I did buy Erin a hoodie zip up sweater for Brownies which cost me £16, so it ate into my profits but i have transferred the other £30 out and will look forward to getting that next week sometime, probably when i need it most as funds are low and don't get paid til the 30th this month!!

What with new shoes and handbag for this wedding bought from Ebay, i think i am Ebay neutral this month... or probably in a little profit.

Incidentally, i got the hand bag yesterday for 99p, and half the original postage cost, all in all £3.49.
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Linda, there's probably not much anyone can say to make you feel better, but the fact that you DO feel so bad says a lot. This is what I think I would do... Try and work out WHY you got to that point with her - what buttons did she press that made you lose it? Was she actually behaving worse than usual? If so, why? Or did you just not cope as well as usual, and again, if so, why?

Replay it in your mind but with a better ending where you stay calm and ignore the paddy. It sounds daft but doing that creates a new little pathway in your brain, and it increases the chance that your brain will choose that pathway and react better next time.

Give her an extra cuddle tonight, and then forgive yourself and move on.

    Morning everyone

BOS - I really don't know what to say to you; but I hope you are both OK now.

I've got the builders coming this afternoon so I'm finishing work early so I can get home and get the house tidied; no idea what he'll suggest to remedy the penetrating damp but I'm hoping it'll not be too expensive!

Hope it's a good one for everyone.

Until its time to Muuuuuum whats for tea. Dont fret about. My mum used to use a glass of cold water on me. Always took my breath away. I did not do it a again after the 3rd time. I left home. Maz, fantastic news about the reduced postage costs - sound much more reasonable! :T

I've just been having a look through my wardrobe, bearing in mind I spent *whispers* £70 on clothes yesterday, and I've worked out that I have created at least 8 new outfits....I think that's pretty good, but I need to hide my credit card now, because I enjoyed the shopping spree a bit too much, and I've seen some lovely shoes I would really like.... :o
