Who's going to takeover Tiscali?

Just read elsewhere that the front runners to takeover Tiscali are BT, BSkyB, Carphone Warehouse and Telecom Italia.

I'm with Tiscali and there's noway I'm changing to BT if they buy them out - so who to change to and all the hassle that will involve

Although BT I believe own PlusNet, I have not had problems with them, infact there is even a PLUSNET person on MSE.

Also one of their support people is on the newsgroup UK Broadband.

Their helpdesk is not based abroad.

I have put three people on to Plusnet and about to move another from PIPEX (aka Tiscali) due rubbish service and speeds that have happened since they moved over to the Tiscali LLU.

You won't notice any difference in the service. The buyer will more than likely keep the operating name the same.

However if you're with Tiscali at the minute then i guess any of those people buying it can only mean better things for Tiscali customers
