That's purely because of the length of the post - the 'box' (I don't know the technical term...lol) that your whole post is in has to be big enough to accommodate all the stuff on the left (avatar, stars, location etc). So if you make a post that is shorter than the 'stuff', you get a bigger gap under your sig.Your post #4 seems to have a number of blank lines below your sig compared to post #6.
