ISA Transfer certificate

Was in Barclays today opening a Tax Haven ISA.

Got talking about transferring last year's Tax Beater ISA to another provider when the 12 months is up and it loses it's 1% bonus. Was told that as from 5th of this month the customer has to go along to the original provider and get a certificate which he then gives the new provider.

Anyone else know of this?

Nope. I've recently transferred out of Barclays, and I just went through the usual process of applying to the new provider, but I started the process at the end of February.
