    Oh yes they are.
Everything I have bought from JL, they are cheaper or they have matched the price. With Televisions, they have the 5 year gurantee, which is a Bonus

The Partnership card gives you 6 months @ 0% as soon as you get approval and vouchers back by the looks of things.

Can I just say something ... John Lewis's will price match, nothing is ever mentioned about warranty unless you state it.

This is a thread on LCD tv's which people have successfully and unsuccesfully had them price matched.

I took everyones advice and emailed my local John Lewis during the earling hours regarding pricematching with Sound and Vision and I'm now awaiting a response.
Many thanks whatever they say but I reckon I'll be getting this TV at some point because I was so impressed when I saw it in the Sony centre.

Think you'll find John Lewis won't accept the price match with Sound and Vision as they no longer have ticket prices on their sets - try Empire Direct theres a retail shop in Bolton i know they will match them - not sure about the cost though.

JL cambridge contacted me today to confirm they would price match Sound and visions price on a panasonic 37" plasma.

JL cambridge came back after 2 days (all done via phone)
I am still awaiting JL Norwich to come back to me on a price match for a 42". Norwich JL suggested it could be upto 10 days before they get back to me.

Funnily enough the Sound and Vision price has dropped by a few quid since Wednesday. I believe you can also get a price match if you find your product on sale cheaper within 28 days of purchase.

Sound and Vision now say back in stock soon so I very much doubt they will pricematch now.
