I am looking for a 40"ish full hd television. Is there a thread on here which compares the current deals ? I saw that sense 42" on ebuyer but wondering what else is out there. sorry to go slightly off topic op. the telly you posted looks great! just out of my budget0

Think you'll find John Lewis won't accept the price match with Sound and Vision as they no longer have ticket prices on their sets - try Empire Direct theres a retail shop in Bolton i know they will match them - not sure about the cost though.0

Alex try these 2 below. They are from Teleland and both 37" with 5 years warranty and both FullHD.

I'm not so sure as some very expensive shops don't display the prices and they say if you can't afford the price then you shouldn't be shopping there and I for one don't shop at these places lol.Always looking for a bargain and to help0 -
just been Googling this as matters of law interest me!
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=retail+price+tickets+law&meta=cr%3DcountryUK%7CcountryGB
is what I've just been reading.
It confirms what I thought... retail prices should be clearly displayed.
If you went into that shop without an Armani suit on, do they quote you a lower price for the stuff?Seriously though, I think trading standards would take a dim view.

I agree that the OP is a great deal. When we bought one of these TVs last year, we got JL to price match Hi-Spek. But Hi Spek currently have this for £799 with no extra warranty.
It is also worth going into the different Sony shops. They are all franchises I think, so can set their prices as they choose (within limits, I guess!) You may find that someone might throw in a surround sound system or a discount of a DVD recorder.

Hello,
I had a look on the best shop guide for this product and found it available at £699.99

I think amazon is more expensive on this tv, but usually they are very cheap0 -

Trading Standards would have a field day in Netto's then cos they're pricing is all over the place and they have so many items missing prices that they have barcode readers for customer use to get the prices lol.Always looking for a bargain and to help0 -

If that's the one on eBay then you have to add £59.99 delivery, Paypal not accepted and only 1 year warranty.Always looking for a bargain and to help0
