I have gas central heating which is run on calor gas, which is very expensive. I would like to change to electric heating or piped gas. I rent my hoome from a housing association.
Does anyone know of any grants that I can apply for or is it upto the assocation.
I am under 60 but do get benefits as i am disabled.

You need to contact your Housing Association, they would have a department for dealing with vulnerable tenants.
Maybe you would be offered alternative accommodation.
Installing E7 storage heaters would be the cheapest option whoever paid but more expensive to run than gas.
Could be if the HA agreed to install gas central heating they would put up the rent.0
