My partner has a free Nokia N95 and has been paying £25 a month with T Mobile on the Flext35 plan (normally £35) for his current contract, which he got from back page of a newspaper. I've been on flext35 for 18 months, through Carphone Warehouse, but paying £35. My contract ends in May so I rang T Mobile and asked for the same deal he's on and a free LG Viewty. They offerred the free Viewty and came down to £28.50, but wouldn't drop to £25. Much to the annoyance of the lady who I spoke to in the "loyalty" department, her manager said it would be an overspend of £63 so he wouldn't allow it. So I've ended the contract and I have to ring them back at beginning of May to get my IME number to transfer it over to my new network. I'm keen to keep to the Flext35 plan as it suits my usage. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get T Mobile to give me what I want?

its a PAC number you need not IME

did you go through to upgrades or the option to cancel?
best bet is when you do need your pac ring the option to cancel and they usually have the most discretion

It was the "loyalty" department who took my info and I told them to cancel the contract, which they did.
