I have just received a call from Hampshire Trading Standards Dept. This was following up from my complaint about Express Mobiles to Consumer Direct. According to Trading Standards, Express Mobiles are in financial difficulties and have approached Hampshire Trading Standards asking for details of customers that have complained as Express Mobiles are keen to resolve any issues with customers. Trading Standards were seeking my permission to release my details to Express Mobiles. I would therefore urge everyone who has not received their money to contact Hampshire Trading Standards Dept to log their complalint. In turn, your details will then hopefully be passed to Express Mobiles.

Following on this this, I have also received an e-mail from Express Mobiles today which says -

Thank-you for your e-mail
Your claim is pending, however due to the high volume of claims there will be a delay in payment
All claims will be paid in the order of when they were recieved subject to them being submitted correctly.

Their e-mail to me sounds like another fobbing off exercise. I just wish that Express Mobiles would be honest with their customers and explain that they are in difficulties, instead of making excuses over and over again. Perhaps then, their customers would be a little more patient with them.
