Long battery life 3g phone

any recommendations, vodafone sales office keep throwing the sony er. 600i at me, and won't tell me about any others. Prefer clam phone.

Not sure what is the best, but i had a Nokia 6630 which had less than 1 days usage on a full charge. Stay clear of it.

Although i have heard the Nokia 6680 has a good battery.

A1000 is cr*p (what I am saddled with) My wife currently has a loan 6630 which isn't doing to badly for calls only. Would be interested to hear about v/k600i/608i as it may be my next handset.

I think most of the 3G handsets have problem with battery life at the moment cause of the huge power drain on the screens, the 3g data, etc. I think it will be a year or two before they goto the size+battery of the 2/2.5g phones. one reason why quite a few ppl are still using the 2/2.5G networks.

Not sure it is the screens, I have a non-3g p800 with the same screen as the a1000 and the battery lasts for ages, I think it is the 3g network that drains the power.
