Took 2 of my boys to see Bedtime Stories at Preston Odeon, it was only about 1/2 full & there were 2 bouncer-type guys on the door when we went in & then just before the film started one came & sat at the front & the other stayed at the back - I think they were checking to make sure no-one was recording the film!
The film was excellent, quite a few familiar faces, very funny & both my boys ( ages 14 & 6) enjoyed it too!0 -
Went to see Bedtime Stories in Cardiff and i have to say it was thoroughly enjoyable, it was nice to hear all the kids and adults laughing hysterically and at the end the audience gave the film a round of applause. It was only about half full so we had a pick of all the good seats.0

Saw Bedtime Stories at Leicester, 2 security guards on the doors insisting mobiles to be turned off. very full, quite a few young kids - Film was very enjoyable, but not worth trying to video it on my mobile

Agree with Craftyman 1.
I saw film at Leicester - was as full as I have ever seen a free pre-view.
Film was ok, and seemed very popular with most of audience. Mine were a bit old for it really and had a pained expression as though I had dragged them to see Snow White or something. I thought that having Adam Sandler in would sway them, but although he made it acceptable to them, still too childish for their taste.
Quite a few funny scene where the whole audience was in whoops of laughter, the one that will stick with me was the dog being the Boogey Monster towards the end. Argh,
I know this may sound daft mariolionza, but I don't suppose you have a list of all the films that are included in this years list, ie which films were there preview tickets for this year, as I am struggling to remember - an age thing I am sure.
Or maybe Quoia has kept a list.
I may not be the only one who needs a gentle reminder.;)
Thanks - oh, and 6.5 out of 10 for Bedtime Stories - but still have tickets to Slumdog Millionaire which I have high hopes of :rolleyes:0 -
There is a comp on the SCREENRUSH site but at the moment the link is not working, pls watch out for it when it comes alive. I will try to get in touch with the people!
In the meantime have a wonderful wait:beer:

I just sent an email to 4 different people:eek: I hope they take it as seriously as we do!
And their head office is on the Champs Elysees:eek:   if by the end of the day they don't do something I'll be on my way to L'Arc de Triomphe
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
20:06 They removed the competition

I have just cancelled two tickets for Australia at Greenwich Picturehouse for tomorrow morning at 10.00 for a 10.30 start.

I saw Australia at FACT in Liverpool yesterday morning.
(The idiots didn't switch the sound on for the first 2-3mins of the film  )
At the end we got a free glass of Jacob's Creek wine :T0 -
That's freaky - cuz the same thing happened in Bath with the sound (or lack of it) BUT they put a chuffing intermission in the film and gave out the wine then.
I hate intermissions but at least there was some compensation with the free boooooze.0 -
