because i thought i was and seefilmfirst dont email me. i made a new account incase it was a one off and i still dont recieve the emails. i know that it is the correct email because i can still get tickets from the site, although i have to rely on this forum to get codes.
i even emailed seefilmfirst, they emailed me once and then didnt reply again.
also does anyone know if twilight is going to have free screenings and if so what cinema types; vue, picturehouse, odeon etc would it be shown in?
No-one receives many codes directly from seefilmfirst. Your best bet is to happen to come across a code in a magazine or newspaper, or better still to use the Codes thread here where we collect them. When a code is posted, act quick and you'll get tickets. In return, when you find a code, post it on the thread (but make sure it isn't already posted.)
Here's an easy way to find codes
I visit once a day and have found several codes around the net with it...
As for Twilight, it's very unlikely that there'll be codes because the screenings tend to be around a fortnight (though it can range from several months to just a few days) before a film is released, and the codes quite a while before that even. Also, the proportion of films released that have free screenings is pretty small so it's best to just wait and see what comes. If you're lucky, the film you want to see might have free screenings though in this case it won't. Otherwise, it's good to experiment with films you haven't heard of, because you might find that you enjoy them quite a lot.Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense

I managed to bag two tickets to see Australia at brighton today for sunday :T but the print out for the times on line is dated 14th when it came out and my confirmation is dated the 15th does that mater? Also where are you supposed to *write the confirmation in the space provided*?
Many thanxHappiness is not having what you want...but wanting what you have!!!0 -
Hi, I took my print out with my 2 tickes on to see Slumdog tonight, was refused entry because they had filled the screening. I know these are free tickets, but I had travelled 15 miles (its our nearest cinema) etc and was gutted not to get in, also the cinema really didnt give a damn. I had a bad day too and this just capped it off beautifully. I just hadnt heard of none getting in. You live and learn:(0

Dingaling,
Sorry you had a bad day.
Its always advisable to arrive at a free screening at least 30 minutes before the showing to lessen the chance of being turned away.
When I go I usually get there no less than this to make sure I have a seat... its much better to get there too early than too late.0 -
We went to see 'Hancock' in Greenwich at Vue o2 tonight. There were no more than 50 people in cinema 11. The capacity is for at least 500 seats so plenty of extra space. The movie was not very good though there were a couple of funny scenes in it , notably the scene with the head up somebody's behind. That made me laugh. As to rating it, I would give it a 5.8 out of 10 being much more generous than my OH.0

I emailed sff and they have said they will send some complimentary tickets. Thanks for tip about arriving really early, must remember that next time!0 -
I once got turned away too (got there at 6:25, so cutting it a bit fine!) Was still pretty miffed though as had also travelled quite far (and via *cycling* so exhausted too). I've gone to many other screenings though and have never been turned away (arring at 6:10 for 6:30 showing). Pleased you got comp tickets dingaling to make up for your troubles!0
