  • I must be in a different world to the other moneysavers. Pineapple Express was the worst film this year, and the lamest free comedy since Just Married all those years ago. Gave it stinking marks on seefilmfirst's feedback. So much stupid violence, naff 80s references (a gay Mr T - wow, hilarious!!), and thousands of missed chances of parody and humour.

wow- what screen was you in? I was in screen 3 and seemed pretty full, from my seat at the back.( maybe not many seats taken at the front) I had an old guy next to me sleeping most of the way through the film- when he woke up at the end he said to his wife "that wasn't what I expected":rotfl:

I was in screen 3 too. I was about 1/2 way up and there were only a few couples and a group of 4 sitting in the rows in front of me. My row was completely empty apart from us two. The seats near the back were taken, but that's usually the case anyway. I guess it's all relative depending on where you're sitting.

Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."
  • Mixed reviews across MSE and FMUK but Pineapple Express is going fairly strong with an average 7.3/10...
To put that in perspective, it's about equal to In Bruges...

  • Hi all. I went to see Taken last night and it is well worth it. 97 mins of fast intense action and Liam Neeson was brilliant. And tickets for free. What a bonus, I wouldn't of minded paying for that, although i have no spare cash but you know what i mean. HOpe all that get it enjoy it as much as i did. x

Just shows you how different it can look from different areas of the cinema. we were surprised that people even sat in the tinkle seats:rotfl: (seats in the back row, right hand side as you walk down the aisle) They have been covered in plastic for over a week as they had been like it since Hell boy 2 but at least the bin full of water had been moved! I was right at the back left hand side with my children. Usually do sit there.

Saw the movie in Thurrock yesterday. was very disappointed. there were a few quacky scenes like the guys' foot in the window, but otherwise, i thought the movie dragged in a few places, was not at all good.
let me put it this way: i could never watch this movie again. total waste of time.
    a 4/10.
