hmm! the renault screenings get odder! from what we've learnt they send out a free voucher for any film but the new one has different closing dates for the different choices...pick the Iron Man one first and then re-enter later?

Flashbacks of a Fool - I didn't really enjoy it, but the people I was with did. I just found it quite boring and without any point whatsoever. I would not have been happy to have paid to see that. It was a much older crowd than usual at the cinema, there was a couple of really loud ladies at the back and I saw a few people leave when things got a bit 'racy', lol. Anyway only a 4/10 for me, my lowest score for a free film this year.

Welcome to the Evening Standard Film Club, a unique opportunity to view a great selection of the latest film releases in London - from the latest thriller to the must-see comedy, the all out action spectacular to the most insightful documentary or children's delight.
If you love film then this is the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to exclusive reader screenings across London, giving you a head-start to form your opinion before the critics give theirs.

Here, a feisty young girl named Nim (Abigail Breslin), surrounded by her exotic animal friends and inspired by legends and books, leads an amazing tropical existence that mirrors that of her favourite literary character: Alex Rover, the world’s greatest adventurer. When her scientist father and the secret island suddenly seem to be under threat, she reaches out across the deep blue sea to the creator of her hero for help.

Enjoy fun in the foyer and meet some of the animals featured in the film including lizards, turtles, tarantulas, snakes and a baby Crocodile.

Hello boarders - This is mainly for BEATE, sorry to hijack the board, but (s)he has no more room for personal messages! Can I join your 104 previews in 2008 club? I've been keeping track of free films so far this year (13), but it would be nice be a member and have a little signature to remind me where I'm up to in the challenge! Ta xx

    Hi,

I think she's off on holiday soonish so may not see it, but I'll send your post to her as a PM on FMUK.
Hopefully that will get through to her, but don't worry if you don't get an answer for a week or so. :)
