It was quite an interesting film, and the male leads are excellent, but it has a strong sexual content, and at the screening I was at I definately saw a women bring in a child who could have been no older than 10, (it is a certificate 15) film was totallly inappropriate for a child. I was glad I got the tickets for nothing as not sure it was truly a strong enough film to spend your hard earned cash on. Overall 6/10, and the nostalgia of the 70's was well captured.
are you sure is wasn't a midget ...sorry I mean dwarf?

Hi just got back from Flashbacks of a Fool, was incredibly surprised to find it only a quarter to a third full and the average age of all of us was probably well over 50 made me feel like I was watching sex scenes sitting next to my gran!! I really enjoyed the fim and quite shocked that it's a 15, they must be getting more lenient. We had a powercut to the screen just before the bit with the little girl happened and some people left while we waited for it to come back on (not sure if they had just slipped out to the loo or just plain didn't like it). Overall pretty good, couldn't help thinking of Boyd from Neighbours whenever the young Joe was on:o 8/100

I want two hours of my life back. What a dull, uninteresting film. Not even Daniel Craigs body could make up for that. I wanted to leave after 45 mins, and in fact, quite a few in the already only 25% full audience did. The film got a bit better after the first hour, but only marginally. I know what the film tried to show, but it was just not very well done and the characters were so one-dimensional that I simply couldn't care for them very much. And I had some noisy idiots to the left of me who talked throughout the entire film while periodically delving very noisily into their popcorn bags.

Saw this tonight with only about 30 other people - have freebies gone out of fashion or something lol.
I liked this film a lot, even though it was slow in parts. Cracking acting by all the actors including Daniel Craig, a story well worth telling and remembering, wonderful 70s period feel/music and beautifully shot. And of course the fabulous DC bod, starting with the soft focus !!!!!! scenes right at the beginning. I'm a bit surprised it was a 15 too - not for the nudity but some of the chat about drugs and the strong language.
And, if the two boys were doing what I think they were doing in the ghost train area, why were they doing it there?:rotfl:

Went to see this in Cardiff tonight thought it was the most uninspiring and boring film i've seen for a while, seemed to be just a showcase for Daniel Craig to prove that he is actually a real actor. The only decent bit in it was when Keeley Hawes turned up and i think that was to add the comedy factor. A couple of people walked out of our screening as well they probably paid to see a better film.0
