I would look into your local maplins, time you add on p&p, they are quite heavy.0

I'm pretty sure Maplin don't sell Taiyo Yuden-branded media. The best you'll do there is probably TDK or Verbatim (sufficiently good enough in my experience, but there are cheaper places to buy those than Maplin!)0

Don't forget you don't need to actually buy the TY brand. They manufacture for other brands, you just need to check the manufacturing code to see what type you're getting (SVP are very goods at giving those actual codes).
http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm is a reference for disc quality and who manufactures what."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Would Verbatim be just as good? Both have been recommended to me on this site...
Thanks

They are very good but then many of them are identical discs, as I mentioned TY manufacture a lot for other brands. The current Verbatim DVD-R discs I'm using at the moment are manufactured by TY and I bought them in Stationary Box."She is quite the oddball. Ber aware that the disc may have a brand name but is made by somebody else .
Eg maplins pack of Verbatim DVD R= made by optodisc not Verbatim .

If you buy them from Maplin, if they're branded Verbatim they'll be genuine Verbatim, but who they're manufactured by will depend on which pack they are (check SVP and my link). Verbatim don't manufacture any of their discs AFAIK and to be pedantic about jje's example, Optodisc don't manufacture for the Verbatim brand."She is quite the oddball.
