Be very careful some reg cleaners clean out paths that they shouldn't. I take it that you have defraged your hard disk and cleaned out all your temp files before attempting to mess with the registry?

You might find that nothing gets rid of the bugs, if that's the case then it's time to do a complete re-installation. It happens to every PC eventually, I do a full re-install once every 2 years.

Yes, always give the system a thorough clean - software and hardware (removing dust from heat sink and fans really does help run prog's such as Spybot and Ad-aware without crashing the PC!). The Registry was just one area I hadn't looked at before in light of all the problems people had reported using prog's to clean/fix.

i think the Eusing prog backs up your reg so if u have any problems u restore it back :j
