Best product for removing minor paintwork scratches?

Mer is horrendous. It gets under the trim and then dries. You then spend weeks trying to scrape out white powder.
I understand what your saying but this isn't the polish. This stuff is specifically for scratches (which the OP originally asked about) and has faired well in the Auto Express product test, in addition I have recently used it to good effect. Even came with it's own video :T

I've done a bit more research, and many claim that T-Cut can be too abbraisive, and can dull the paintwork around the scratches, especially on mettalic paint.. which mine is. Also, as I have a few small scratches, they cover a larger area so the T-Cut will need to be supplied to a bigger area, in comparison to having just 1 isolated scratch.
The Meg Scratch X stuff though seems to be less severe, but then again.. a lot of people say it is better for swirl marks rather than scratches (mine definitely aren't swirl marks..)
I don't want to ruin the shine on the rest of my panel, so think the Scratch X stuff may be the best bet...
I think you should try the meg stuff as it is a polish rather than a compound you will be putting polish over the scratch rather than working on a layer of paint. You may find it reduces the appearance of the scratches but will need re doing after every soapy wash. It depends how deep the scratches are, they might not even come out with any of the products, some scratches dont and the only way round it is to have them sprayed. Its all well people advising you of harsher products but if you are not confident with doing it then I dont think you should, black cars show every imperfection and you dont want to make it worse. If you have no joy with the scratch x then you can still try something else.0 -
I know I am digging this up from quite a while ago but I am hoping to get some opinions for a couple of light scratch repair solutions I have spotted over the last day or two.
JML have their GS27 product while Quixx seems to be getting a lot of positive reviews. Both require quite a bit of effort and neither actually replace any of the paint.
So has anyone used any of these two solutions? Is it worth buying to fix some light scratches?0
