Does Anyone Work For Comet? Broken Freezer

Hi anyone work for comet? Freezer bought Jan 8th 08, March 16th 10 weeks later stops working, curcuit board gone, waited and waited and on the 5th April took the freezer personally back to store, fed up with super freezing, stopping, alarm going off, just broken, spoke to manager a) will not do anything for 28 days until then it cannot be writen off and b) will not lend us a freezer until they fix it if they do as they cannot find another circuit board to fix it, so herewe sit no freezer, no replacement and waiting, surely as a consumer I have some rights?:eek:

    spaniel yes that is why they are fixing it for free but cannot find the circuit board to fix it or offer us a replacement for health and safety reasons or want to help us until their 28 days has expired

    Rang head office, rang fair trading standards, rang consumer direct and now eventually Comet will refund us the money for the freezer so that we can use it to go and buy another one from somewhere else, result:D
