For the OPs sake, I'd guess that missHobit's overpayment was a lot more than £175 (I'd guess at over £2k), but only she can confirm that.
Higher overpayment amount result in stronger action.
If you've still not been intervewed under caution, it looks like the might just be recovering the money rather than doing anything else. You could always try ringing them to find out what's going on?0 -

i got a letter this morn asking for me to make arrangements to pay back an overpayment of £150.
going to do it now over the phone
