What Equity ISA?

I have #20,000 in a cash ISA, I'm 33 years old and feel I should move across to the less than cautious side - an Equity ISA!

My attitude to risk should be more aggressive, I assume, as this is all based around a 30 year returement plan.

Any advice...............please???

Your attitude to risk is personal to you. It doesnt matter what others think it should be. However, the longer the term the lower the risk of losses. So, in general you can perhaps take on a little more risk than you may normal do with a 5-10 year plan.

The easiest question to ask about risk on a forum is to ask how much of a loss you would be willing to accept in a given 12 month period before you start to panic. That can give a basic indication to us of your risk profile.

The other thing to remember is diversification. You are not looking at just one fund and area but a spread.

i'm happy with a cautious approach, but is this too negative?? Should I look at a moderate risk including the global markets?
