My OH is a paramedic and if he chose 'ambulance driver' would have saved him £3.50 - not worth it and certainly not worth it when he does so much more than just drive an ambulance!!! (sorry no offence to anyone!) I have my own oven cleaning business and it doesn't specify oven cleaner, so had to put down cleaner and only saved me a couple of quid.

Good idea, but not really worth changing name of occupation for such a small amount.
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:

The page seems to be working nicely in firefox. I'm shocked at the results though... I'd have expected a supply teacher to cost more than a teacher as they've always got to drive around to new and unfamiliar places and therefore may be more likely to have an accident! Oh well, £2.60 is going to have to wait until November for me!
    Chipping away at the mortgage...
    2013:£419k @ 3.14%
    2016:£385k @ 1.79%
    2019:£275k @ 1.84%

The risk associated with driving to different places of work as a supply teacher does will be calculated by adding business use to the policy more than the occupation alone.

Nowadays many big name car insurers include business use for policy holders plus spouse as the norm, (except those who are retired).

Just had a try and found I could save 60p by calling myself something else on the list...and that I already save £2 over another choice of description. Nice tool.

Would be nice to be able to select very different jobs and compare them...I could legitimately describe myself as a Company Director, Management Consultant or IT Manager, IT consultant or Civil Engineer.
