Please Please Please Help

I know im not Martin but please help me anyway..... :)

We've built a new tool, half way between a bit of fun and a full MoneySaving device, which by subtly changing your job title - within legal bounds - means you may be able to change job title on your car insurance and save some money.

Please help by testing it, see if it works, and feedback your experience in this thread in the next few hours before we put it out to everyone in the weekly email tonight.

Tool now live - thanks for all your help :)

Well we know you aren't Martin, but don't mind clicking your link!

Though it takes us to the same test page as in Martin's thread.
  • Ive started a new thread as Martin is away and we've update the tool loads in the last few days. Have a look and let us know what you think :)

Well, I seem to be in the correct category as an 'administrator' - can't find any similar titles which cover what I do and would save me money.

DH could be either 'electrician' or 'maintenance engineer' which seems to cost a couple of quid a year more, so don't think we'll be changing our descriptions.

Guess this could make a big difference to some people though, so well done on the idea!

  • Seemed to work but as I have really cheap insurance anyway, only pennies saved.

I always used to say administrator but now say company director and this is the lowest apart from a Deputy Principal by about £10 (not sure what one of those is!).

My husband always puts HGV driver but if he was to change it to lorry driver he would save £2.10
