Is it still safe to use e2save for cashback?
Hi, have used e2save for my mobile contracts for abut 4/5 yrs now and have never had a problem regarding cashback or their customer service.
I now have two months left on an 18 month contract that I purchased with them and obviously have been looking around fro the best deals.
My question now is this: Is it still safe to take out a contract with cashback deals?
I would not consider using any other company other than e2save for these anyway as I have found other companies not to be as reliable, but after reading Martins articles from the homepage I am wondering if taking out a deal for the cashback is a wise idea at all?
As e2save is part of the CarphoneWarehouse it has always made me feel they are more likely to survive than other smaller companies e.g simply3g etc but is it possible that they may also go under?
How many companies like this are still going?

Do a search (on the net as well as here) on e2save, read up on the current problems reported, then make your decision.
Any e2save service you have received in the last 5 years is not relevant today.0 -

I am still receiving excellent e2save service which Is why I am keen to stay with them.
I was wondering if these deals are still safe to use RE: many other companies going broke and ppl not being able to get their cashback?0 -
Yes, many other companies have disappeared and left people with expensive contracts and unpaid cashbacks.
You are lucky to receive excellent service from e2s - if you care to do the search (just on this forum) you will learn about all the current problems, and their appalling service we are now experiencing.
eg. not answering the phone, (though putting us on hold on premium rated phone numbers), not replying to e-mails, issuing nonsensical defences when sued for cashback, issuing deliberately contradictory ts + cs, going through the motions of intending to issue defences when being sued for cashback just to "buy" more time, etc. etc.0 -
Thanks Quentin
I will do the search and have a read.
Do you know of any other "reliable" companies who do similar promos with regard to cashback?0 -
Fraid not, they all seem inoculated with the same needle!0
