Nokia 6100 can anyone help?

Just managed to purchase 6100 thanks to Browntoa at a bargin price(thanks again!)- now only one problem it is locked to virgin.
I have been on the trycktill website and tried code 7 and 1 but to no avail. It did ask if phone was old/new 6100 not sure so put in old?? Daren't try anymore codes without advice so....................
Wondered if anyone could tell me what to do from here?

I did unlock son's phone on orange. I went on the uniquephones website I think. Nokia is very easy to unlock even for a newbie like me.

I punched in the number that was given to me from very helpful moneysaver. And it worked. Initially I tried to get the number myself from trycktill website (see previous posts) but for some reason it didn't work.

Make sure you put the correct provider in - the one you want to unlock from.

Sorry I can't be of any more help.
