I agree that the OP has gone quiet, and I suspect that is down to a lack of support from posters. Which I agree with....
About 2 months ago, I was really uncomfortable (won't go into too much detail, family forum :) ) so went to see the locum, who said "well, you were pregnant........now you're in the middle of losing it. Come back if you don't stop in 3 days"
I cried and cried but did not for one minute think about "financial compensation" Be gald you're alive!! :)

That is so awful for you. Were you not given any sort of emotional support. Big hugs and sympathy and hope things improve for you. I cannot believe that any doctor would be so uncairing.
    Loving the dtd thread. x

Yes, I was somewhat suprised!! I was tremendously lucky to have a supportive b/f, and a very distracting 4 year old girly to care for!! :D

To the poster who didn't complain when pneumonia was misdiagnosed as man-flu:

You really should have complained about that doctor. Sometimes GPs - especially out of hours ones - simply aren't bothered. Doctors do sometimes get struck off for this behaviour, and reporting something like this could save a life!
