Hello all! How are you feeling now z? I survived the wicked witch of the east, known affectionately as the MIL from hell! I did manage to get a few moments peace, by pretending to understand computers and explain the joys of quidco to the FIL, so he now has an excuse to escape her as well. I now have the greatest sympathy for OH developing a deaf ear and the like (not really but have mellowed over weekend) The snow frightened me a bit, thinking i may have to stay there a bit longer-but thankfully we made it back. The trouble is i really like it in Durham, so will have to find ways to sneak up there.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Don't you like your MIL Len?
Mine is actually quite lovely-and very good to me.
However, OH can't bear my mom.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Too true lenny-she can appear like the trots in a crowded toilet can that woman. It is like, she suckers you in to make a visit, and then proceeds to nag you for the next one, nag the kids and nag OH (that's my job!)Hey Bob, MILs are like an exocet missile, they turn up unannounced and tend to ruin your whole weekend
Still -lots of retail therapy and on a scale of 1-10 probably registered at 3, so a vast improvement.
Hope your shed has survived the inclement weather and the little man has been behaving himself.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
