At the risk of sounding thick...

....here goes!

I have £3k in an 07/08 ISA (A&L).

I am ready to put £3.6k in an 08/09 ISA.

So, if I want to put this years cash into A&L too, do I just deposit it into the existing ISA account that currently has my 07/08 quota?

Or do I have to open a new 08/09 ISA account with A&L?

Thanks!

I called A&L last week to double check this very point and was told to deposit it in the existing ISA. In fact the CSA said it was the only way to do it!
