You simply need a cable router, such as:

There are other companies mentioned, you'll need to look for CABLE/DSL Router and not an ADSL ROUTER which are ADSL Modems & Router combined.

Once you get the router you connect the cable modem to the WAN (Internet) port and then connect your other computers by the LAN ports (or wirelessly if you opt for wireless - though you need wireless connection on the PCs) Wireless routers also come with at least 4 hard-wired ports. So even if you want hard-wired only sometimes it can be cheaper to buy a wireless router, but switch the wireless side off and use the hard-wired ports.
