  • Thanks to everyone who replied! To be honest before this eposode I've had no problems whatsoever with RBS - i esp like the fact that you can phone them and actually spreak to someone in branch.

    Back to this matter- going to get my dads soliciter to write them a stong letter- doubt they will budge but its worth a try. I've got to call the DC at my local CID a week today to see how things are progressing.

    But looks like ombudsman is the way to go.

    It really does take the p**s though as the bank are treated me (a victim of the crime) as a criminal which isnt a nice thing.

    I suppose if im guilty of anything its not checking my statements regularly- some which i now do twice a day!!
