I have now reported 7 e/bay accounts hi-jacked (4 in last 2 days) by the same guy. E/bay have been quite quick to stop the aution when reported but this is quite frightening it is only one person so there is proberly hundreds if not thousands of accounts being hi-jacked all the time.

Makes you think twice about buying on e/bay again

Surely they can track him from his IP address to his ISP and then take further action?

If you follow the security steps, buying on eBay is pretty safe, but buying from dodgy sellers with little feedback and items that look too good to be true, should set alarm bells ringing.

Although that doesn't apply to the situation on this thread as the seller accounts are all legitimate and may have very good genuine feedback.

All the hi-jacked accounts have had under a 100 feedback comments and nearly all were 100% and hadnt been used for a while.

I have just spotted number 8 (that is 8 since he did me, who know how many before that) He has now changed the format but left enough clues to spot. If he changes to a differant product to sell i wont spot him.

Somebody hacked into my ebay account and listed loads of handbags!

I have sorted out my ebay account now, but still need to sort out my hotmail account
I always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...
