Im looking to book some flights to St Lucia, its a regular yearly trip we make to see dh family. I have flown with BA and Virgin (always mse to get cheapest flight) XL Airways have the cheapest tickets by far but im a little nervous about booking as its a long flight and i don't want it to be unbearable, so i was just wondering if anyone has had experience of this airline and can advise me a bit
Thanks
Thanks
Love a charity shop bargain

We have flown with them to Barbados before, and it was an OK flight - I would rather pay their lower prices and spend the money on the actual holiday - after all, it is only a means of getting from A to B.0

I've flown with them on a 5 hour flight - no problems.0

I have flown with them on a 4 hour flight, found then no better or worse than any other airline.0

we have flown with them twice, on one flight they had leather seats! they are ok and we didn't have any problems.Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale - Hans Christian Andersen2012 savings:remortgage £156.15pcm £5 pcm insurance reduced; 2012 Running totals: £10 goodwill requests/Grocery Coupons £12:T0

We flew to Tobago, outbound we had a 2 hour delay, the toilets blocked and the plane smelt and the aircon leaked. The return flight was delayed by 7 hours and even though we knew before check in they would not confirm until we had checked in, that meant there were some people with children that had no access to their bags and told to return to the Airport in 7 hours time, they had no where to go.Would not recommend them0

I flew with XL to Canary Islands inOctober and found them fine, although it was only a 4 hour flight. Am flying with them next Monday again and taking kids again and have no qualms about doing so. Have a good time!!!glitterycloud wrote: »Im looking to book some flights to St Lucia, its a regular yearly trip we make to see dh family. I flew with them to & from Sharm and found them intolerable. There were very very long delays with no information or help, surly staff & the plane stank!nothing to see here, move along...0

I flew with them once long haul, never again, I would rather walk. Short haul flights then you would be okay but long haul I just would not bother going on holiday.0

Flew to Orlando with them last year and found them better than Virgin who we had used before. Service was fantastic and staff wonderful with children. :j0
