I bought a virgin sim and set up payment by direct debit to get cheaper calls whilst in Turkey. Virgin are the cheapest of the major networks.
On direct debit payment plan (which you there is no tie ins) you pay:
To make = 60 pence a minute
To recieve = 30 pence per minute
Send a text = 25 pence
I noticed when checking prices for next year's holiday that Thomascook.com have a link to a travel sim service which is even cheaper. You will need to log on for exact details. https://www.thomascook.com0
