    i always check my receipt for anything i purchase because the boogers are always making mistakes at those tills :cool:

  • Not all Marks and Spencers are giving Bags for Life away theres been alot of confusion about this. I work in M&S the store i work in gave them away back in December till January. We now charge 5p for normal bags and 10p for Bags for Life!!

    i work in a m&s simply food bp site and we are giving the bags for life bags away for free till the 5th of May and then the bags of life bags will be charged at 10p and the green plastic bags will be charged at 5p all money will be donated to charity (but i cannot remember what one) hope this helps

    There is only one problem with this offer...........they are plastic.
    I thought they were cotton or natural fiber.....bummer.

    Last week i was given a thick plastic bag for life for free but also purchased a nifty cotton/hessian/whatever bag for 66p which I think will be £2 next month.
    Sometimes you get what you deserve... :cool2:

    I asked about being charged for bags in M&S Lakeside they said they will still be free in the clothing dept it is only the food part of the store or the Simply Food stores that are charging. What would happen if you took your bag of crisps up to the menswear dept - would that cause confusion - lets stress test the system!:money:

    Not if you go to Castlepoint Bournemouth. They are now charging for bags.!!!!
