I see that they are going to start charging £15 for unlock codes also.

Why are Virgin shooting themselves in the foot, putting their charges up to 40p per minute and 12p per text

Just tell them firmly you aren't happy with the proposed new charges, and wish to cancel as allowed under the terms of the contract.

You may need to do this in writing.

And you must cancel before the charges take effect.
