There is a problem with this website's security certificate.
For goodness sake ....... READ post #1.Some MoneySavers (me included) found the message "problem with website security" appears at some point in the set-up process, yet this is due to your computer security levels being high (quite rightly!). I simply accepted the certificate to continue. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
For whatever reason, it seems that PDQit's site doesn't seem to play well with Firefox , but it does with Internet Explorer (which I run inside Firefox with the IE Tab add on).
The download of the driver took several goes this morning... I suspect that there server is being hammered by lots of Money Saving Expert users logging on, registering and downloading at the same time.Always think of a dragon - we're an endangered species!0 -
            Hi all,
I'm from PDQit and am concerned about the issues you are having with our websites security certificate. We are trying to replicate the issue and are only having limited success in doing so.
So far I have only seen the error message when I set my computers date to be incorrect. I set my PC's date back a month to March and IE7 displayed the warning just as Faston posted.
Is this a likely cause for you all? I'm wondering if you may have set your PC's date back for some evaluation software.
If this the date is not the cause then can you please give me some feedback on the browser and security settings you are using? If there is an issue with our certificate then we would like to get to the bottom of it.
Thanks for your time and I hope you enjoy using PDQit.
Best Regards,
Alex
p.s. The site should work fine with Firefox, it's my preferred browser too, dragonthoughts, can you please elaborate on the issues you are having with the site? Thanks.0 -
I installed the program, created a word document to print, send it to the PDQit printer but after it spooled it, XP Pro reported "
Faulting application frmprtinfo.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x00001010. "
I tried the websites pages for assistance but there is no technical assistance offered?
I rebooted, reinatlled the software but without joy, hopefully Alex, can you shine some light on this?
Thanks

            Hi again,
First thoughts are that "C:\PB_TEMP" is either not created or you do not have full access to it. Can you check in Windows Explorer or My Computer to see if "C:\PB_TEMP" is there and that you can create a text file inside? If you cant create and delete a text file please ask your administrator to give you permissions to that folder.
I'm sorry that you could not find our technical support on the website. If you take a look at the FAQ page again (http://www.pdqit.com/faq.php) there is a "Your Questions" form on the right hand side. You can ask support questions directly through that form. Alternatively you can send emails to support@sureprint.co.uk, screen shots of your issues are more than welcome though the email address.
wolds_lady, if my post has not helped then can you please create a support ticket with us (through the website or email) then our support team can give you some more help.
Thanks for the feedback,
Alex0 -
            Hi all (again!),
I have an update on our websites certificate. We found another issue when browsing to "pdqit.com" as opposed to "www.pdqit.com". With the "www" missing the URL did not match the secure certificates URL when browsing to one of the secure pages.
You will get the same behaviour if you try to browse to "https://microsoft.com". For normal browsing the "www" is not important, but secure pages have extra checks in place for your safety.
We have implemented a fix in our website that will re-direct you from "pdqit.com" to "www.pdqit.com". I hope this helps every one.
Thanks for taking the time to try our product and I hope you all find it useful.0 -
Do you have to use all ten freebies at once after registering? Or, once registered, can you use the 10 up as and when you need them?Stop looking for answers....
The most you can hope for are clues.....:)0 -
You can use your 10 free letters any time before the end of April, after that the special offer will end.
We print and post each week day but our servers are open all night to collect your mail. We've already had customers telling us how they like to send their invoices out late at night when the phone has stopped ringing and they get some time to sort things out.0
