Post 10 letters for free!

What's the deal?
Mailing company PDQit is giving 100,000 new registrants 10 free send-outs to any UK address. In other words if you've a Word, Excel or Sage document you were planning to send via Royal Mail, it'll print and post it for free.
How to get 10 for free
You must register with PDQit first. The sentence at the top of the form will indicate whether you're one of the first 100,000 applicants or not. It's available for both business and personal use so type 'n/a' if you don't have a company name to enter.
Then you must download the PDQit software that's applicable for the documents you want to send (there are specific downloads depending on if you plan to send Word, Excel or Sage documents).
Once you've installed the software, open your document and go to print it. In the drop-down menu, select the 'PQDit printer' (this is the software you've just installed) and the document will be submitted and sent on by the company.
Availability
Although this offer has been available for a couple of weeks, PDQit has confirmed 10,000s of free trials are still available.
You may get a 'website security error'...
Some MoneySavers (me included) found the message "problem with website security" appears at some point in the set-up process, yet this is due to your computer security levels being high (quite rightly!). I simply accepted the certificate to continue.
As a personal test, I signed up and submitted a word document that was received three days later.

IMPORTANT NOTE
This free service isn't for confidential or sensitive documents, nor anything that you wish to have sent via recorded delivery - but as a simple way to post letters or documents for less... it's a go-er.
P.S. This discussion was originally started by the poster immediately below. This entry has been inserted so we can put an official, fully researched MoneySavingExpert.com explanation at the top. Thank you to maximus0983 for spotting the great offer.

This idea sounds brilliant but, at present, when trying to register, I'm getting a security warning. It's the red shield with the white cross.
There is the option to join the site anyway but I'm not sure.
Am I being over cautious?
Regards to all.:beer:0 -
