Cash in a shares ISA

Hi
During recent market turmoil, I cashed out of shares in my ISA, and have not ventured back in, so I now have 20k in cash in my maxi ISA with Selftrade
This pays only 3.25%
I am aware that one should hold cash, only with intention to re-invest, but with state fo market, I think it may well not be time to jump back in.
Does anyone know a way of getting a better return on the cash portion of an ISA?
Many thanks
PS This is my first post, so all advice gratefully received!

Have you looked at Cash Funds, Bond Funds or Gilts Funds?0

Hargreaves Lansdown were recently advertising 6% gross (4.8% net) on cash in their ISA.Debbie0

Obviously this is not advice, but you could try fixed interest/bond funds. These can still lose/gain in capital, but can also offer a fixed return of say 6% upwards. I think Invesco Perpetual monthly income (IIRC) currently yields over 6.5%.2014 running challenge 587.4 miles / 250 miles0
