Do Virgin sims work on T-Mobile phones?
Hi
I know this question has been asked before but those threads are over three months old so I'm not sure if they are still applicable.
Just want to know whether a Virgin sim card would work on a T-Mobile PAYG phone? When I put the Virgin Sim card into my brothers unlocked phone, it recognised T-Mobile so I'm presuming that it would work but I want to know for sure before I splash out.
Thanks

Hubby's Virgin Sim works fine in T'Mobile's Nokia 6300 and a Nokia 6500, he is moving to T-Mobile. The chap in the T-Mobile shop said that there shouldn't be a prob with the Nokia phones.0

So why dont T-Mob sims work in Virgin Phones ?0 -

technical reason: there are two 'depths' of locking, the virgin phones are locked at the deeper sub-net level, whereas T-mob's are at the higher network level (i.e. virgin phones are a sub-network of T-mobile, but not the other way around); any SIM that is on a piggy-back service to T-mobile will work in a T-mobile phone for that reason. The thanks button is here to the right.
