What phone to go for?
Hi,
My Contract is up next month with 02. I have no problem with their service so am planning to take another 12month contract out with them.
Basically I'm just asking what decent phones are about at the minute I currently have a SE K810i which i love and have had SE phones for the last few years and cant fault but I do keep hearing good things about the LG Viewty or possibly the ipone?
Whats the best out there at the minute?
Thanks,
Pete.

The Viewty is far better than the Iphone at the moment mate. I've just ordered one after playing around with one yesterday.
I would highly recommend it - Especially over this incarnation of the Iphone.John

Id stay clear of both.I got the iPhone when it came out i n USA and it is just hype (prices have gone down from £269 to £169 due to summer release of new 3G iPhone) and the Viewty gets boring after a while. I tried some of the features they show off on the adverts, like the slow motion recording and figured that you need perfect lighting. Your best of going for the Nokia N95 8gb as its got quite a few good features. But if you're really happy with your current phone, why not ring o2 up, ask them to give you a few options in regards to handsets and price plans and then say you don't really like the handsets on offer and would prefer to keep your current handset. They should say yes and you should then be able to haggle a REALLY good deal. If you can try the 'Ok, ive had enough i want to cancel my contract...' route. They'll put you through to disconnections or something lol, and explain to them you want to stay with o2 and keep your phone but the deal being offered just isn't good enough. Usually they will sort you out with a good deal. Im on 3 and I kept my N95 and im paying just 12.50 a month for 400 minutes and 300 texts plus 300 3 to 3 texts as well.
Good Luck !!! Student Current Accounts = - £3400
:rotfl: Nectar - 3331 Points
Quidco - £98.18 :T
