It's all gone a bit Pete tong in the IA household.
£202 for Wii, wii sports and extra controllers
    Approx £110 for games
£114 for sat nav and case.
all on the egg card... *sigh*

Hiya IA, Bet Stu is pleased with the Wii...I was on the forums a few weeks back when he mentioned about wanting one! I have one and they are fantastic fun! Like pinkpr1nc3ss said, you are working very hard and deserve a treat and it won't be long before you have it paid off...I also agree about the Wii Fit and am getting mine at the weekend. Wasn't gonna sucumb to one (although I wanted one sooooo bad) but as I had told me bro how much I wanted one, he went and picked on up for me and one for himself and said I could pay him back in installments. Weightwise they are meant to be a little bit 'out' so will stick to my scales but have been told that they are ec=xcellent fun so cannot wait to pick it up! You have to get Mario Kart if you have a wireless internet set up at home as playing online is great fun! Enjoy it! xxx

Well in my defence the Sat nav purchase came after ending up in birmingham last night on the m5 instead of being in wednesbury on the m6 :wall: I must've wasted so much petrol recently relying on maps and AA route planners and getting lost that I figured the sat nav would pay for itself. That and I can claim it as a business expense and get the tax offsetted anyway.
The wii was more a guilt trip purchase as I've had new clothes etc etc recently and all the time Ste has been wanting a wii but I've always said no. His bonus was used for debt, and we've both agreed that this is going to be replacing a birthday present for me this year. I didn't really want it but it's something we all can play and I've just asked to go out on my birthday instead. The egg card is now going in the freezer in a bowl of water to stop temptation, and all proceeds from my AS parties etc are going to be going to pay it off. Need to check the bank to find out the exact figures though.

Next time though I think a cheapie uk family holiday is in order - take one while the kids (picture their faces, sea and sand yeah!!) are small and not in school - some really good deals to be had in May/June and September - no excuses - if you can have a wii you can have a holiday - you deserve it (obviously when the wii etc is paid off though :p )!!

Seriously I have found myself screaming at the Sat Nav and getting really really stressed. I find that if I am going somehwere strange it will get you right on top of you where you want to be then just as you approach a junction where youve got to make a decision on which way to go, the signal is poor and the signal is about 100 yards behind you so you make a decsion and its usually the wrong one!
