Morning all. Good luck Bunny for today and your new beginnings. As for my new beginnings? hmmm.. not sure.... although yesterday despite Ste telling me to stick my clothes on the egg card, I didn't... and I made sure I didn't go crazy... so does that count? Having a bit of a love/hate relationship with my Egg card at the minute.. lol. Although saying that tomorrow I'm going to be paying off another £40 odd to get it down to £100 :T and that £100 will be paid off on thurs when I get my pay on delivery money :D
Plans for today... got some calls to make, stuff to post, as well as going running tonight.. plus Ash is going to nursery later. So all in all not a busy day.. I may tackle the garden when Ash is at nursery and K in bed.. as it's gloriously sunny today and lovely. :)

Having checked the banking etc today and totalling up the debt now another car payment has gone out... it stands at..
    Car - £4590
    TV - £955
    Egg - £148
    = £5693 :)

Slow progress recently.. but it's starting to pick up now my AS is starting to take off. Have 2 parties this week, 2 next week and 2 the week after. Admittedly I haven't got any savings aside for Tax... but at the moment I'm wanting to get the debt paid off (At least the egg and tv) and then I'll make the tax back up. I'm keeping a record of what tax I should be saving anyway and so far it's only £140 so not too bad. :)

    Hope everyone's well today

  • I'm not an expert but I'm surprised its that much, remember you have a tax allowance - approx £5,000 is what you can earn before you even pay tax.

Well I'm going on the 'save 20%' thing so I've got enough to cover it just in case. :)

sounds sensible to me, though the tax allowance is for all jobs you have, so argos and AS will soon add up, but if you don't earn above the threshold, then you'll have some savings;)!

Remember if you wear a uniform for work and have to wash it you can phone up HMRC and they adjust your tax code to give you the tax back on the washing costs.... wonders if Ann Summers reps. wear "uniforms" ;) . Washing the crud  off your kit maybe reclaimable

you have a maximum allowance of 10,000 miloes per annum at 40p per mile. this is usually pro rata'd to 833 miles per month. anything above that is 25p per mile. i believe its the same for self employed as employed but may be best to check with AS how much they pay per mile. loving the myspace. looks fab!
