Morning all. ;) Had a nice suprise this morning when I checked the internet banking.. to find that not only has my CAB expenses cheque cleared and the child benefit gone in... also our tax credits have been paid a day early... lol
Need to wait until I get the nursery bill before I can figure out what's leftover money wise. Should get that soon though.
I'm still trying to get my head around doing backing vocals for one of our covers. MY main issues with it being..
    A) I can't sing
    B) I'm female
    C) It's avenged sevenfold (Metal, all male vocals)
    D) I have the hand/brain coordination of a dead mongoose.

Should be fun... I can sing (I use the term sing loosely) the words.... and I can play the bassline.... but whether I can do both at the same time remains to be seen. :rotfl:

The CAB training is going really well. I'm currently working towards a 4 day course in september so going through the main enquiry areas. Really really enjoying it. :)
The OU course is really good... and I've got a TMA (assignment) due in on friday I'm currently stressing about as still not finished. Spent 4 hours doing it last night and STILL not finished.. gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Trouble is my singing is really weak and not particularly rock and roll.. or metal for that instance! lol! The female bit comes in as the original is a very metal song, sung by men... so wondering if it'll sound daft with a woman on backing vocals... but hell.. what's the worst that could happen. lol

Female vocals can really work with rock/metal - think PJ Harvey or Queen Adreena maybe?

Are you doing another OU course after this one? <nosy>
