I am trying to get a job. I was made redundant from the retail trade just when I took on a mortgage. Given the credit crunch and poor high street retail conditions its not easy getting a job. I have so, in 4 days, applied for over 32 jobs!!!
So you are asking someone who manages to hold down two or three jobs whilst juggling parenting 2 kids, a university course, voluntary work and lives in a tiny rented home to give you charity...
How thousands of people who have absolutely nothing, arrive in this country with nothing but their own initiative, little english etc manage to find jobs and keep a roof over their heads.... can't think why employers prefer them to the home grown parasitites trying to sponge off people worst off.... how about we give our spare cash to some people with real problems in the China earthquake and you sell your house and/or get a job?0 -
OMG I forgot to update about Ash's potty training! Has been a week now and she's doing so well!!! Tuesday she did 5 wees/poos on the toilet, weds 3, thurs 3 and fri 3 and she's able to hold it. Today for example she's had no accidents and worn her pants in the car twice without any problems! She's also weeing on the toilet at nursery and is starting to ask. :T:T:T:T:T
Sooooo proud of her right now. Going to take her out for a mcdonalds on sun as her treat for being such a big girlTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

love the photos IA
really lovely
people with young children please shield their eyes........I’m trying to get out of debt and I thought if loads of people sent me a £1 coin I would achieve my target of 50k. Then I thought if hundreds of thousands sent a £1 I would go public and give the excess to charity. This could be huge!!! Just think how much money could be raised. Fancy helping. We could decide together where the money goes!!! We might even get in the guiseness book of records
and what the hell book is this
the one where you all see who can con the most people with your stupid guises at charity
sorry IA xI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -

Why not spend some time reading the diaries & other threads on this board.....in between applying for jobs.
Then maybe you'll understand why the reception you got may be seen as slightly unfavourable.
There are a lot (and I mean A LOT) of desparate people on these boards, who are scrimping & saving pennies to repay their debts & to house, clothe & feed their families, who DO NOT BEG.
And may I just add, 32 jobs in 4 days is not a record in my eyes. When you are over 150 in a week, then I will say "well done".
Good luck in your jobhunt.
