This is not exactly make-up. But I bought some eyelash curlers from Primark at the weekend for £1. They are as good as the pricier ones I bought from Boots.0

Poundland had some Cover Girl foundation and primer sets in today.
Although I bought some,I haven't used it yet but I've been told it's worth buying for the primer alone.0 -
Exfoliator:
Use a tablespoon of salt to a cup of olive oil. Mix together. When you're in the shower scrub away! Makes enough for three applications, and you can add more salt if you prefer a deeper scrub.
Cost:
less than 10p!
I've dried all kinds of exfoliators before and this makes my skin glow. People always ask me what product I use... I never tell them!

Try the revlon vital radiance one - clear packet with purple back, its a small beige round pot, eyeshadow primer, from poundland, best ever really recommend it!:happyhear0 -
I tried the Cover Girl make-up this morning. The primer makes it glide on and it's very sheer and natural, so it's only any good if you have reasonable looking skin in the first place.
I think it's fine and will buy some more but if you have blemishes or uneven skin tone, this won't do anything for you.0 -
I was chuffed to find this thread, and have written a list of things I'd like to try.
I bought the Tesco BNatural hot cloth cleanser because I love Liz Earle and thought it was definitely worth a go, unfortunately almost immediately my skin had turned bright red and was BURNING and didn't cool down for about an hour after! I do not have particularly sensitive skin (only reacts to very heavily perfumed items) and I have never had a reaction anything like this, so I would suggest if you are going to give this a go do a test patch first - I still think it's worth a try because it so much cheaper than Liz Earle.
Other way round for me - Liz Earle makes my face sting like fury. I think it's the eucalyptus in it. I love the BNatural one though and it leaves my face lovely and soft.
My other favourite cleanser which I use a couple of times a week for a deep clean is Anne French cleansing milk, which is about £3 for 200ml.0 -
Thanks for the tip about Superdrug vitamin E oil. Bought some, think it was about £1 or £1.50 and it has really nice smell and is pleasant to use. I also bought the Superdrug Vitamin E eye cream, and like wow amazing for the price. It definitely has brightening particles in it. May pick up some vitamin e cream and see what that is like.
Sadly I didnt get on with the Aldi day cream, I found it didnt settle very well or sink in but hey ho, we are all different.
must try Anne French, I used to use that.
helend, perhaps you could use the bnatural cleanser on your neck only or Id use it up say on the top of my arms, backs of my hands etc. Or I wonder if Tesco do a refund policy?Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

I went into Aldi the other day to get a Lacura concealer pen as recommended in here, but they didn't have any
Does anyone know how often they stock them or when the next batch are likely to be in?
