I just read in Prima magazine that a good tip is to put honey on the spot and cover with a plaster and leave overnight. Haven't tried it so don't know if it works!
Honey does work, as it is a natural antiseptic and also a powerful natural anti-biotic - it's also cheap, you don't need to buy Manuka strength for an external applicationa cheap squeezable bottle from Aldi will do

Sudocrem is good, but only if you already have a tub in your bathroom cabinet as it isn't that cheap - although you may be able to get a small trial size tub. It is a good barrier cream, as you'll find when you try to wash it off your hands.

You're right Unity, Sudocrem isn't that cheap but I think it's good value as you can use it for so many things. I use it on my dog who seems to have an uncanny talent for injuring himself (or getting scratched by the cat). I call it magic cream because it heals everything...cuts, burns, spots, insect bites, blisters etc. And a little goes a long way.0

Just bought two Revlon lip glosses in Poundland in Lilac Kiss and Fuchsia Smooth, and the Lilac Kiss is very similar to the discontinued Pout's Horny Hilda.0

I have a new favourite in my cheap and cheerful toiletry collection - Morrisons's 'Knock Your Spots Off' face wipes. They come in 'Deep Clean' or 'Exfoliating'. I use the 'Deep Clean' ones and they are brilliant - get every trace of makeup off, don't dry my skin, and are often half price at 67p a packet (as they are at the moment). I really cannot recommend these enoughDFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0
