Finally got some of the Waitrose Baby Bottom Butter last week. How are people using this? It smells divine!

Firstly try & keep it cool, mine got very warm & went a bit runny & hasn't seemed to go back to how it was.

So keep it out of the sunlight.

I find it very heavy & greasy & I'm using it for the dry skin on elbows & anywhere else you have very dry patches. I personally wouldn't use it on my face too heavy.

It smells liked molton milky bars doesn't it?:D
  • My daughter loves her aloe vera vaseline. It is very cheap, lasts ages and works really well! :kisses3:

Very perceptive. The smell comes from a chemical called vanillin that is found in vanilla - the flavouring used in white chocolate. It also happens to be one of my favourite molecules - see my blog if you are interested.

Sorry if this question has already been asked/answered, but I've been on this thread from day 1 and I don't think it has, so here goes...

I LOVE Liz Earle body washes - the energising one and the orange flower one. They use natural foaming agents.

Is there a low-priced one on the market which has that same very smooth, creamy texture when it foams (if you've tried the LE ones you'll know what I'm on about...)? I really can't afford £12 a time for shower gel :o As far as the scent goes, I'm easy - the Liz Earle ones are very nice, aroma-wise, but the thing I'd really love to be able to get for less is that particular consistency when foaming.

I sincerly doubt it - well not cheaper - plenty more expensive though

Do you use a scrunchie or mits? I can make a bottle last 3 months or more :D

I haven't tried the Liz Earle ones, but I love the Johnson's bodywash - think they've changed the name as used to be '24 hour moisture bodywash', but these 'Silky skin shower and shave' appear to be the same thing - they're really soft, gentle and creamy.
Johnson's sent me one by way of apology after their 'Holiday Skin' gave me a reaction, and I loved it so much I bought one when (many months later) it rang out. Not dead cheap, but a lot cheaper than Liz Earle, and looks like they're BOGOF at Boots atm - http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1083714&classificationid=1011583
